BONU BURRË!
"Bonu Burrë!", in Albanian "Be a man", reflects the condition of LGBT people in this country. The series draws portraits of young gay Albanians playing with the ambivalence between the need to affirm themselves and the obligation to hide. From secret parties to the stories of one of the imams viewed hundreds of thousands of times by Albanians online, as well as landscapes of the country, it shows the issues and internal conflicts faced by people in the LGBT community, the largest group of which lives a double life. It is above all an intimate personal experience, tracing the artist's own construction of identity.
