The sacredness of the body

Isabelle’s work takes form in plastic photography and therapeutic photography. These two dimensions nourish and reinforce each other with their common point being the relationship to the body. At the intersection of these two practices, for seven years Isabelle photographed and interviewed women and men in all simplicity. She
decided to listen to these intimate details with which we come into the world and mutate throughout our existence. Driven by a deep desire to praise the sacred dimension of the body and support individuals by offering a benevolent eye, thereby contributing to changing representations. It isn’t nudity as such that she explores, rather the body as the home of the soul.
