Verdiana ALBANO

In this series, Verdiana Albano focuses on the Chinese metropolis of Chongqing. The city's dimensions are gigantic, and its surface area is now equivalent to that of the whole of Austria. In addition to gigantic skyscrapers, dots and roads, the surprisingly deserted images also show the mouths of the Yangtze and Jiang rivers.
Using her camera, Verdiana Albano maps the strange atmosphere of Chongqing, which, shimmering in the diffused light, reveals aspects both mystical and dystopian.
