I Peri N’Tera
Castro Garcia explores the many ways in which migration impacts Italy, from Africa to Libya via the Mediterranean Sea. Those who survive the travel experience a number of traumatic incidents, only to discover that life in Italy and the wider Europe is one of ghettoization, xenophobia, joblessness, exploitation, and a long and difficult process of being legalized.
