What does he see in the street scenes day after day? He probably only notices the ‘appearance’, the external envelopes of clothes, facades and everyday objects. But a squirrel observes the people and things he meets from different perspectives. Thus, clothes or objects used «for their own sake» in a creative mode also seem to say more about people «in themselves».
